This white wine comes from a southern vineyard in the lower Peninsular Range Region in San Diego County and was hand harvested in August of 2022. Surrounded by granite mountains, the soil has been enriched for centuries by the local marble, slate, schist and quartzites, and the vines are kept cool by the breeze from the nearby Pacific Ocean. Before being aged in French neutral oak barrels,  the wine was foot tread and left to soak for 24 hours for light skin contact. Racked twice, aged for 12 months, and held in the bottle for an additional year before release, this white wine consists of 100% Riesling with fragrant and floral notes.
