Remaining Vines Fundraiser
These wines, loose leaf teas, flowers and juices, propose at least a moment for us to take in what remains: art and care for one another. The work just might not sit inside museums or gallery walls. It might be outside, over a drink at home or wherever you practice. This drink is for the challenging times, the rejection letter, for going out when you have work the next day, for uncertainty while laughing with friends.
Remaining Vines offers a unique variety of 6 natural wines and 2 non-alcoholic drinks, each paired with original artwork labels created by: Anja Salonen, Candice Lin, Corazón Del Sol + Devin Reynolds, CFGNY: (Kirsten Kilponen, Daniel Chew, Ten Izu, and Tin Nguyen), Umar Rashid, Pippa Garner, and Reynaldo Rivera.
8 Artists · 25 Bottles per Artist · 200 Bottles Total
In addition to the holiday drinks, you can purchase ceramic accessories created by artist maddy inez. These ceramic wine stoppers evoke seedlings of grape plants and companion plants such as Rosemary, Borage and Geraniums.
Remaining Vines is a program created by and for artists. Thank you to our collaborators Mikey Muench, Chenoa Ashton-Lewis, Will Basanta, Wyatt Naoki Conlon, Joy|Jade, Julian Stein, and Harris Bauer + friends at Psychic Wines for making this project possible.
Like our collaborators Ashanta Wines who were inspired by the perseverance of remaining grape vines after California fires, we too are urged to ask: what kinds of new support will allow us to grow, break off, build new directions, and intertwine together?
Your contribution directly supports our work in creating a public art archive and artist book library dedicated to learning from each other's artistic ephemera and lives.
LACA warmly welcomes further donations. Help support our library, archive, year-long programming, and our community of artists by signing up to our sustainability program, or by making a one-time donation today.
